AVG Broadens Channel Reseller Program with Ingram Micro
Amsterdam and Mississauga, August 18, 2009 – AVG Technologies, developers of the world’s leading free anti-virus software, today announced it has expanded its distribution agreement with leading technology distributor, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM). Ingram Micro will now offer AVG Business class security products to its resellers in Canada through the volume licensing and retail channels. With an installed base of more than 80 million active users, AVG is the world’s fourth largest anti-virus vendor, with North America comprising its largest share. This agreement with Ingram Micro is the latest milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion in North American markets.
